08:45 Gisslause lammgård
It all begins at the farm... Elisabeth at Gisslause sheepfarm will show us her sheep and their wool. She has different sheep breeds with different wool types, quality and colours.

10:30 Stenkyrka Ullspinneri
At Stenkyrka wool spinning mill they happily process wool - from raw wool to yarn. It is a modern spinning mill, with flexible machines, that can handle both small and large quantities of wool from different sheep breeds, alpaca, angora, mohair and more.

12:30 Lunch at Ullkontoret

13:15 Ullkontoret
Ullkontoret started operating in 2016 and is Sweden´s only large scale wool scouring mill. They are scouring mainly sheeps´s wool from the island, but also wool from the swedish mainland and alpacka wool. About 2 tons of wool per day are being scored during spring and autumn!

14:45 Lecture/Inspirational talk - Erika Åberg
She is a knitter, an author, mother, knitwear designer and a maker. She lives on Gotland and have this thing with islands. And of course, wool!
Erika will take you on an inspirational journey on islands, living and knitting close to the Sea.
