Hello, my name is Jay and I’m from Korea. I majored in Visual Design at university and worked for 25 years as a fashion magazine designer and art director.
When I left Korea, I wanted to try something different. I asked myself, When am I truly happy? What makes me happy? I realized that, as a child, I was happiest when I was drawing. I also felt happy when I taught drawing to high school students during my college years.
That’s why, here in Älmhult, I want to share the joy of drawing with all of you. It doesn’t matter whether you draw well or not — what matters is the happiness you feel in that moment while drawing.
